郝吉明

清华大学环境学院教授,中国工程院院士

能源与环境、大气污染控制工程

郝吉明院士主要研究领域为能源与环境、大气污染控制工程。主持全国酸沉降控制规划与对策研究,划定酸雨和二氧化硫控制区,为确定我国酸雨防治对策起到了主导作用;建立了城市机动车污染控制规划方法,推动了我国机动车污染控制进程;并深入开展大气复合污染特征、成因及控制策略研究,发展了特大城市空气质量改善的理论与技术,推动了我国区域性大气复合污染的联防联控。获国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖2项,国家自然科学二等奖1项,省、部级科技进步一等奖4项,二等奖5项,获2015年度哈根-斯密特清洁空气奖(Haagen-Smit Clean Air Awards),成为中国大陆首位获得该奖的科学家。 

Jiming Hao, Professor at Tsinghua University School of Environment, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Professor Hao's research on energy and environment, especially air pollution control, is internationally recognized. He has led several nationwide research projects on acid deposition, which identified the control zones for acid rain and sulfur dioxide, and played a leading role in guiding policy principles for acid rain control in China. Professor Hao is also one of the leading experts in motor vehicle pollution control, who established the control planning system and initiated the national vehicle emission control program in China. His in-depth studies on the characteristics, causes, and control strategies of combined air pollution promoted the development of a joint action plan on regional air quality preservation and pollution control. He has received the first- and second-class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, the second-class National Natural Science Award, and multiple Science and Technology Progress Awards at the provincial level. In 2015, he became the first Chinese recipient of the Haagen-Smit Clean Air Award.           

  
           

David L. Sedlak

David L. Sedlak, Plato Malozemoff Professor at UC Berkeley Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the journal Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T), and the deputy director of the National Science Foundation’s Engineering Research Center for Re-Inventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt). Professor Sedlak's research focuses on the transport of trace organic contaminants in the urban water cycle, the fate of chemical contaminants in conventional and advanced wastewater treatment processes (e.g., steroid hormones), and the development of novel remediation techniques for groundwater and soils contaminated by organic pollutants. His book "Water 4.0"examines the ways in which we can gain insight into current water issues by understanding the history of urban water systems. He has received the Athalie Richardson Irvine Clarke Prize for Excellence in Water Research, the US National Academy of Engineering Gilbreth Lecturer award, the Fulbright Senior Scholar Award (Australia), and the Paul L. Bruce E. Logan

Bruce E. Logan, Evan Pugh Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the director of the Engineering Energy & Environmental Institute at Penn State University. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the journal Environmental Science & Technology Letters. Professor Logan is one of the leading pioneer in microbial fuel cell (MFC) research. He has devoted his scientific career to develop MFC and microbial reverse electrodialysis technologies for achieving energy sustainable water and wastewater treatment, who also made significant contributions in areas of environmental transport processes, pollution remediation, and environmental biotechnology. Professor Logan has received numerous awards and honors, including the Clarke Award, the Paul L. Busch Award, the Frank Annuzi Award for renewable energy, the Association of Environmental Science and Engineering Professors (AEESP) Frontier in Research Award, and the Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award.

Prof. Paul Lam has extensive research experience in environmental chemistry and toxicology. He is particularly interested in the responses of organisms to persistent toxic substances, as well as the environmental fate and risk assessment of these compounds, especially emerging chemicals of concern. Professor Lam is the author/co-author of over 350 publications in international referred journals (h-index: 58; http://www.researcherid.com/rid/B-9121-2008). He was an Associate Editor of the “Environmental Toxicology and Risk Assessment” section of Chemosphere (2004-2008). He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Environmental Science and Technology (since 2010). He serves as an Associate Editor for Journal of Environmental Sciences (JES) and recently edited a special issue on “Emerging Chemicals of Concern” for JES to be published in November 2017.

陈君石

国家食品安全风险评估中心研究员,中国工程院院士

我国食品毒理学学科的创始人之一,是国内外享有盛誉的营养和食品安全专家

陈院士在硒与克山病研究、'中国膳食、生活方式和疾病死亡率关系研究'、中国总膳食研究等领域均取得了世人瞩目的成就,被世界卫生组织誉为发展中国家开展总膳食研究的典范。2001年以来作为国家重大科技专项“食品安全关键控制技术”专家组组长,开创了由我国牵头起草国际食品标准的先河。曾获施瓦茨国际奖、卫生部科技进步一等奖(第一作者)及中国标准创新贡献终身成就奖等。 

Junshi Chen is a senior research professor at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a world renowned professor in nutrition and food safety, and one of the founders of the subject Food Toxicology in China. Professor Chen has made remarkable achievements in studying Keshan disease, “Diet, life-style, and mortality in China”, and Chinese total dietary. His work has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a model of total dietary studies in developing countries. As the head of the National Science and Technology Major Project “Key technology for food safety control” since 2001, Professor Chen and his team have initiated the participation of China in international standardization processes for food safety. He has received numerous awards including the Schwarcz award, the first-class Science & Technology Award of Ministry of Health in China, and the Lifetime Achievement Award for China Standards Innovation and Contribution.

邹志刚

南京大学教授,中国科学院院士

南京大学环境材料和再生资源研究中心主任,教育部“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授,国家重点基础研究发展计划973项目首席科学家

长期从事材料物理材料化学及新能源方面研究,发现新超导材料PrBa2Cu3Ox并阐明其超导机制;开发可见光光催化材料并推广其在光解水制氢和环境净化方面的应用。在Nature,Phys. Rev. Lett.,J. Am. Chem. Soc. 等国际一流期刊发表论文300多篇,他引超1万次。获江苏省科学技术一等奖和国家自然科学二等奖。 

Zhigang Zou, director of the Eco-materials and Renewable Energy Research Center at Nanjing University. He is a member of the National Academy of Science, a Yangtze River Scholar, the chief scientist of the National Program on Key Basic Research Project of China (973 Program), and the leading scientist of the Innovative Research Team supported by the Ministry of Education in China. Prof. Zou has a long academic career in material physics and chemistry, and renewable energy studies. He discovered the superconducting material PrBa2Cu3Ox and unraveled its superconducting mechanisms. He also expanded the applications of photocatalysis materials in water purification and solar hydrogen production. He has published more than 300 research papers with over 10,000 citations on journals including Nature, Phys. Rev. Lett., and J. Am. Chem. Soc. He is a recipient of the second-class National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first-class Science and Technology Progress Award in Jiangsu Province.

Shane Snyder

Dr. Shane Snyder is a Professor of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona, and holds joint appointments in the College of Agriculture and Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. He co-directs the Arizona Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC) and the Water & Energy Sustainable Technology (WEST) Center, and currently serves as an editor-in-chief for the international journal Chemosphere. Professor Snyder’s research focuses on the identification, fate, and health relevance of emerging water pollutants. He has been invited to brief the Congress of the United States on three occasions on emerging issues in water quality. He has served on several US EPA expert panels and is currently a member of the EPA’s Science Advisory Board drinking water committee. He was recently appointed to the World Health Organization’s Drinking Water Advisory Panel and was a member of the US National Academy of Science’s National Research Council Committee on Water Reuse. Professor Snyder has published over 150 manuscripts and book chapters on emerging contaminant analysis, treatment, and toxicology.

Dr. Renyi Zhang received Ph.D. from MIT (under Chemistry Nobel Laureate Mario J. Molina) and conducted postdoctoral work at Caltech/NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His early research contributed to the understanding of stratospheric ozone depletion and formation of the “Antarctic Ozone Hole”. His research at TAMU has led to important discoveries in photochemical oxidation of hydrocarbons; formation, growth, and properties of aerosols; urban and regional air pollution; ambient measurements of trace gases and aerosols; and assessment of aerosol-cloud-climate interaction and the impacts of human activities on the environment, weather, and climate. Dr. Zhang is an editor for the Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences, a senior editor for Oxford Research Encyclopedia - Environmental Science, Oxford University Press, and a former editor for Journal of Geophysical Research - Atmospheres. He is a member of the International Commission on Atmospheric Chemistry and Global Pollution and chaired the American Meteorological Society’s Atmospheric Chemistry Committee. He received the Outstanding International Collaboration Researcher Award from the China National Science Foundation, The Association of Former Students Distinguished Achievement Award—Research at TAMU, the Bush Excellence Award for Faculty in International Research at TAMU, and the Cheung-Kong Distinguished Scholar Award from the Ministry of Education–China. He is an elected Fellow of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), American Meteorological Society (AMS), and American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

全燮教授主要研究领域为污染控制化学与技术。开展了基于光电化学的污染控制技术基础研究,提出应用光子晶体和异质结等原理设计新型微结构光催化剂来提高能量效率的方法。建立了功能性分离膜材料的制备方法,形成基于功能材料的高级氧化强化方法和膜分离耦合的废水毒性削减新技术。研发了基于生物相容原理的高效生物载体,提出基于新型悬浮载体的污水高效处理及升级改造新工艺,实现工程应用。以第一完成人获国家自然科学二等奖1项,省部级科学技术奖5项。

Professor Xie Quan was granted as Chair Professor of "Cheung Kong Scholars Programme of China" and Distinguished Young Scholar of National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research interests focus on Environmental chemistry and chemical technology for pollution control. He took the research on pollution control techniques based on photo- and electro- chemistry, and proposed the methods for energy efficiency improvement with constructing novel microstructure of photocatalysts such as photonic crystal and heterojunctions. He proposed the methods for fabrication of ceramic supported carbon nanomaterials membranes and selfsupported hollow fiber memnbranes,, and the novel processes of coupling advanced oxidation with membrane separation. He developed the functionalizd suspended biofilm carriers, which has been commercialized. He has received the second-class National Natural Science Award , and provincial Science and Technology Awards for five times.

张爱茜研究员主要研究领域为环境计算毒理及以构效关系为核心的有机污染化学。研究提出不同计算手段耦合集成的新型计算方法,实现不依赖实验的迁移转化机制解析和行为预测;建立基于靶点多态性和可塑性的毒性评价方法,揭示污染物与生物分子作用的结构基础及其生物学意义;开发毒性预测工具,结合污染现场和人群调查,阐明人群暴露相关机制化学本质。在Wat. Res.、ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces、ES&T等发表SCI论文70余篇,获6项发明专利授权和4项软件著作权,建立了高性能环境计算毒理平台Comtox,参与发起成立中国毒理学会计算毒理专业委员会,获教育部提名国家自然科学奖二等奖、中科院杰出成就奖、毒理学会优秀青年科技奖、第11届国际PTS会议青年科学家奖和优秀百人。

Prof. Aiqian Zhang mainly focused on environmental computational toxicology and structure-orientated organic pollution chemistry. She has proposed novel computational methods based on effective integration of different calculation tools, and thus realized the experiment-independent mechanism analysis and behavior prediction for environmental migration and transformation of pollutants. By presenting new toxicity prediction methods based on inherent plasticity and polymorphism of target proteins, Prof. Zhang successfully revealed biological significance of molecular recognition of macromolecules upon pollutant binding. Moreover, she has developed professional toxicity prediction tools to achieve the chemical nature of exposure-related issues with the aid of pollution investigation and biomonitoring. Totally, over 70 papers were published on SCI-indexed journals such as Wat. Res., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, and ES&T. Besides, 6 Chinese invention patents were issued and 4 developed programs for toxicity prediction via SAR accomplished computer software copyrights registration. She established the premier platform Comtox for environmental computational toxicology to achieve the essential research capacity, and also contributed to membership assembly and establishment preparation for Committee of Computational Toxicology, Chinese Society of Toxicology. As an excellent scholar for the 100-Talents-Program of Chinese Academy of Science(CAS), She is the recipient of Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Prize of CAS, 2nd Class Prize of Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Award for Outstanding Youth of Chinese Society of Toxicology, Young Scientist Award from the International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances.

戴晓虎教授作为国家863计划首席科学家牵头承担了多项国家攻关课题,围绕国家的迫切需求,带领团队在“高含固污泥厌氧消化及污泥及有机质废弃物协同稳定化和高效资源回收”理论和实践方面取得了诸多创新成果。实现了“基于高温高压热水解污泥高级厌氧消化、生物质燃气回收技术”与“污泥与有机质废弃物协同厌氧消化技术”等在长沙、镇江等地的示范应用,推动了我国污泥及城市有机质高效厌氧资源化能源化的发展;实现了“新一代低碳型分散式分质供排水和污染物资源化系统”在世园村社区(依托2014年青岛世博会)的工程化转化和示范应用,填补了国内多项技术空白。近五年发表学术论文七十余篇,获得发明专利授权四十余项,是国家十三五”固废资源化“专家组召集人。荣获2016年“中国产学研合作创新奖”第十八届中国专利优秀奖、2015年环境保护科技一等奖等奖项。

Prof. Xiaohu Dai, as the chief scientist of ‘national 863 program’, took the lead to undertake several national research projects. Around the country's urgent need, led the research team to carry out research on the theme of "High solid anaerobic digestion of sludge and Co-Stabilization and efficient resource recovery of sludge and organic wasters ", and achieved lots of innovations in theory and practice. Under the direction of Prof. Dai, the domestication application of technologies including ‘Advanced anaerobic digestion & biogas recovery based on high temperature high pressure thermal hydrolysis’ and ‘Anaerobic Co-digestion of sewage sludge and municipal organic wastes’ was realized in Changsha, Zhenjiang and so on, therefore promoting the development of recycling and energy regeneration of domestic sludge and municipal wastes. And ‘Half-centralized Quality and Function Orientated Municipal Water Supply and Drainage and wastewater utilization’ has also been developed and put into practice in Qingdao. Several technical gaps were filled and the industrialization was also realized. Prof. Dai has published more than 70 research papers on international academic journals, patented more than 40 technologies or products, and the convener of specialists group of ‘13th national Five-Year Plan’ for ‘Solis Wastes Reclamation’. Prof. Dai has been awarded ‘National Innovation Award of cooperation in academy&industry&research (2016)’, the 18th Chinese patent award of excellence (2016) and First prize of environmental protection technology (2015).

乐晓春教授主要从事生物分析化学、环境化学、环境毒理和人体健康、基因损伤和修复等研究。加拿大生物分析技术和环境健康领域首席科学家。担任分析和环境毒理研究室主任。 乐教授于2010年当选为加拿大皇家科学院院士。早在2000年,乐教授获得加拿大自然科学与工程研究院的E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowship,该奖以表彰加拿大四位最杰出的青年科学家和工程师,当年由加拿大国家总督亲自为乐教授等颁奖。同年,加拿大总理亲自公布乐教授被委任为第一轮加拿大首席科学家。他还获得加拿大化学会颁发的W.A.E. Professor Dr. X. Chris Le's research focuses on bioanalytical technology and environmental health. His group is interested in developing ultra-sensitive assays for environmental contaminants and biomolecules, studying DNA-protein interactions, and understanding the effects of environmental contaminants (e.g., arsenic) on human health. Dr. Le was elected to the Academy of Science, Royal Society of Canada in 2010. He has received W.A.E. McBryde Medal, the Maxxam Award (Analytical Chemistry), and the Environment Research and Development Award from the Canadian Society for Chemistry. He also received E.W.R. Steacie Fellowship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and Martha Cook Piper Research Prize and the Award for Excellence in Mentoring from the University of Alberta. Dr. Le is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Environmental Sciences and Associate Editor of Environmental Health Perspectives. He serves on Editorial/Advisory Boards for 10 other journals.
